This listing is for a made-to-order, LED-lit Gandalf book nook, inspired by Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
Please note that as this piece is made to order, there may be small differences between the one that you receive and the one pictured. I strive for every book nook to be better than the last, so the small changes should be improvements! feel free to message me to discuss this.
The lead time for my work can vary quite significantly depending on how many orders I currently have. If you are working to a specific timescale, then please message me before purchasing so that I can confirm dates with you.
I have been making these for several years now, employing a range of traditional techniques from miniature painting and terrain building, to bookbinding. Please note that no real books are used in the making of my book nooks - they are handmade from scratch.
My pricing system is based on the cost of materials (usually around £30) + the time spent on the build at £20 per hour. If you would like one of my book nooks, but they are unaffordable for you, feel free to send me a message so that we can work on a design together that fits your budget. They can be made for as little as £75 if the scene is simple enough!
